Trying to get your product on the shelves of the Nations biggest grocery chains can be a daunting task at best. The red tape and hoop-jumping can be enough to discourage even the most determined vendors and food brokers. Tim Lawhorn, CEO of one of America's fastest growing seasoning blends found a way around all that. He is taking his case right to the top - literally. Tim packs up his cooking gear (he is a former chef by the way) and heads to the corporate headquarters of major grocery chains. Lawhorn sets up his grill early in the morning and by 10 am he is ready for the "Meet and Eat". The pitch is simple, "he will cook for you using his seasoning, and you will be sold." So far, Tim is doing quite well with this "Direct to Hungry Buying Executives" plan. After a recent board room Taste Test, he landed in all the Bi-Lo Supermarkets.
