"Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary of Bharatpur in Rajasthan is 175 km from Jaipur & 185 km from Delhi. Bharatpur National Park is famous for its large variety of birds in all over the world. The Sarus Crane (Grus antigone) is a large non-migratory crane found in parts of the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia and Australia. The tallest of all flying birds, the Sarus Crane is easily distinguished from other cranes in the region by the overall grey colour and the contrasting red head and upper neck. The main breeding season is during the rainy season. There is a Pair of Saras Crane In Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary enjoying the sun light in winters. Every year the rare Siberian cranes come to spend the winter in the warmer climate of Bharatpur.
