"Dirty Terrestrial" is a mashup of Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana" from Bad (1987) and Katy Perry's "ET" from Teenage Dream (2011). The emerging story from these two songs works well. I used the Jacksons' 2005 hit "Scream" to tie everything together visually.

The idea to merge these two songs came solely from thinking that they would work well together musically and lyrically after listening to some of Michael Jackson's albums recently. Katy Perry's potential fifth top hit from a single album (to tie the record held by Michael Jackson) is completely coincidental and had no bearing on the mashup.

The intro to this video is a narration by Michael Jackson, recorded in 1981 for a children's audio book (vinyl record) entitled "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (album)."

This music and video is a derivative work, a legitimate form of original art under "fair use" laws.
