He may have looked like he was "winning," but actor Charlie Sheen took it on the chin on Saturday (September 10) night at a Comedy Central TV roast where his sex life, drug use and talent drew punches -- and punch lines.
Sheen, once TV's highest paid actor on the comedy series "Two and a Half Men" before he was fired in March by the CBS network, has seen numerous ups and downs in recent years.
Host Seth MacFarlane found Sheen to be an easy target
SOUNDBITE Seth MacFarlane saying (English):
"Acutally, you know what, I copied Amy Winehouse's obituary. I only had to change 3 things. The sex of the deceased, the location of the body and the part that says that it is a talent that will be missed."
Sheen's roast was an odd mix of celebrities with a panel that included actor William Shatner and former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson.
Through it all, Sheen seemed to be a good sport.
The Comedy Central roast airs on Sept. 19.
