Ready to kick off her fashion show, a worried designer Cynthia Rowley waits back stage for celebrity guest Lindsay Lohan - and waits, and waits until the Hollywood starlet shows up a fashionable 40 minutes late.
With her guests assembled, Rowley had anxiously tried to track the actress' whereabouts, as managers delayed the Spring 2012 runway show for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
A quick embrace and pose for photographers and Lohan rushed to her seat so the show could finally get underway.
Afterwards the actress asked Rowley for one of her dresses and was directed to the rack by the designer.
Audience members and media were held going backstage after the show, until Lohan finished her shopping.
The celebrity was brief but positive in her praise for the collection.
