When a bicyclist is involved in a motor vehicle to bicycle accident, the bicyclist loses every time! Injuries may range from road rash, deep contusions, bruising, muscle or other soft-tissue trauma, cuts and lacerations, fractured bones, head and brain injuries or spinal cord damage which can result in death. And, because many of these injuries can be very expensive to treat and take victims out of work for many weeks or longer, bicyclists often suffer substantial financial injuries as well.
