In this video Houston attorney Gregg Anderson of the law offices of Terry Bryant answers the question: Who could be sued for a motorcycle accident? Motorcycle wrecks are the same as car wrecks in terms of how the law applies to them. The motorcycle operator has to follow the same traffic laws that the operator of a car has to follow, so the issue of who is at fault would be the same as a car operator. If the motorcycle operator does something that is negligent or in violation of the traffic laws, then he or she could be held responsible for causing injuries to someone else. The more likely scenario is a situation where a car does something that injures a motorcycle operator and the motorcycle operator would have the right to sue the operator of the car.
