Amanda Knox's Italian defense team prepares for the final arguments in the appeal against her murder conviction.
The American study abroad student and former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted in 2009 of killing British student Meredith Kercher.
Knox was sentenced to 26 years in prison and Sollecito to 25, but prosecutors are asking the court to give them life sentences.
The lawyer representing a bar owner who Knox initially accused said it was unlikely her sentence would be overturned.
(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) CARLO PACELLI, LAWYER OF PATRICK LUMUMBA, SAYING:
"There is a forest of evidence against Amanda. She accused an innocent person, knowing well that he was innocent in this very serious crime, the killing of the poor Meredith, knowing he was not guilty. This has been proven."
Prosecutors say Knox led Sollecito and a drug dealer in the sexual assault and murder of Kercher.
But her supporters say she is the victim of an overzealous prosecution campaign and unreliable forensic evidence.
