http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK - Diane von Furstenberg showcased her New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 collection on September 11, but even before she handed out American flags at the end of the runway, we knew there was something special in the air. The collection, too, aptly named Beginnings, was fraught with positivity. We weren't sure what to expect in terms of Diane von Furstenberg's signature color and prints when the first girls came out in flowing white dresses, but DVF came back in full force as the collection continued. Still, there was something fresh and new about her pretty looks, as if she was turning over a new leaf. That, too, came with the florals, the crisp but colorful jackets and Bermuda shorts in new and innovative colors, the prints, the poppy disco looks, and the unique draped dresses. DVF certainly has something for everyone and she's happy to showcase it with optimism.
