An English man who stole a JCB forklift in July and tore through local roads and a cemetery causing thousands of pounds of damage was jailed for four and a half years on Monday. Police helicopter video showed Steven Regan's rampage through the village of Church Warsop, near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. He was initially detected on CCTV driving the vehicle at speeds of up to 20 miles per hour (32 kilometres per hour) which prosecutor Jon Fountain claimed was an excessive speed for that type of vehicle. Regan, in an alleged attempt to escape capture, went off-road and tore through fields, hedges and the local graveyard, causing an estimated 15,000 pounds (23,000 US dollars) worth of damage.
