Carlos Santana returned to his roots.
The legendary guitarist performed a benefit concert in Leon, Mexico to raise money for children in need.
The show was organized by former President Vicente Fox's organization.
One concert-goer had nothing but praise for Santana.

"I saw him 23 years ago right here. I thought it was really good, very good honestly. He has improved, he has become very mature with his music."
The gig was Santana's only show in Mexico this year.
