Actor Mickey Rourke is the 254th celebrity to immortalized at Grauman's Chinese theater in Hollywood.
Recognized for a career that began in the 80's, Rourke recently has enjoyed a comeback, and is starring in the new 3D film "Immortals."
After placing his hands and feet in cement, Rourke signed "Grandma" into the plaque - a nod to his grandmother to whom he dedicated the honor.
SOUNDBITE: Mickey Rourke, actor, saying (English):
"She knew about all these people here and I used to watch TV and she used to tell me who Errol Flynn was, Ronald Colman was, of course her favorite actor was a gangster actor, kind of, George Raft, that runs in the family. She told be about all these people and educated me when I was a little boy about all this stuff. She would've told me to stand up straight, keep my shoulders back and make sure you take that God damn toothpick out of your mouth so you don't look like some white trash hillbilly standing on the corner."
Rourke's first major role was in the 1981 movie "Body Heat."
Other memorable films in the 1980s included "Diner," "Rumble Fish," and "A Prayer for the Dying."
