Albert Kahn, a banker and financier, had these gardens and structures built in Boulogne-Billancourt in the very early 20th century. He funded photographers in the new color methods to travel and document. He was ruined in 1929 and the State acquired this property in 1936, then the region did. This place is closed Mondays. You can get there via métro or bus, and this is on the West side of Paris by the River Seine. It is not expensive to get in. No baby carriages or pets are allowed. For a little more you can see art here, too (usually photographs). The first Sunday of every month, admission is free here, but the price is so reasonable, that might be a waste. The neighborhood is pretty and there is a lot of interesting architecture around. This park must be great to see in many different seasons. We plan to visit again.
