Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton topped off an exciting year with the biggest prize at the British Fashion Awards.
She won 'Designer of the Year', no doubt, in part to scooping one of the biggest fashion assignments in history - that of Kate Middleton's wedding dress.

Victoria Beckham won 'Designer Brand of the Year' after only starting her own label three years in 2008.
The former Spice Girl became emotional as she accepted her award on stage.
SOUNDBITE: Victoria Beckham, Designer, On Winning Award, saying (English):
"This is such a big deal for me. It really is. I can't thank my team enough. Without them, I wouldn't be in this position. And my husband and my kids. I always dreamed this would happen one day but it really is a dream come true."
Kate Hudson announced the Red Carpet Designer of the Year award to her good friend Stella McCartney.
Other winners included Alexa Chung for 'British Style' and Christopher Kane won the 'New Establishment' award.
Afterwards guests including Marc Jacobs, Colin and Livia Firth and Kate Moss partied the night away in true British style.
