Stranded baby seals are inundating a Dutch marine rescue centre after recent storms in the Wadden Sea off the northern Dutch coast. Rescuers say the seal pups are separated from their mothers and too weak to feed or fend for themselves. A growing number of seal pups are washed up on beaches along the Wadden Sea as a result of lack of food and a build-up of toxins in available food sources, making the pups susceptable to infection and parasites.
