On the last day before the 2008 United States Presidential elections, Republican candidate John McCain set out on a whirlwind campaign tour through three battleground states, promising supporters a come-back victory. While front-running Democrat Barack Obama, traveled to the key swing state of Ohio in an attempt to cement his lead. Both campaigns also unleashed massive pushes throughout the country, using telephone calls, mailings and door-knockings in a frenzied climax to the historic campaign. 11/03/08
