On the last day before the 2008 United States Presidential elections, Republican candidate John McCain set out on a whirlwind campaign tour through three battleground states, promising supporters a come-back victory. While front-running Democrat Barack Obama, traveled to the key swing state of Ohio in an attempt to cement his lead.
