In an interview published on Thursday Defense Minister Ehud Barak called on Western powers to set aside their differences with China and Russia in order to create a united stance against Irans nuclear program. Barak said that the Wests concern over Russian military presence in Chechnya and Chinese human rights violations was proving to be an obstacle to unified action against Iran. He added that the U.S. missile plan in Eastern Europe was also a key source of division between the U.S. and Russia. 11/20/08
