Israel released Friday morning, as agreed, 256 Palestinian security prisoners, mostly affiliated with Fatah, as part of a move to bolster Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in his struggle with Hamas.  Abbas capitalized on the release and spoke of the desire to secure the freedom of those left in Israeli prisons.  07/22/07
