A concert featuring words of Holocaust survivors will be played by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra at Jerusalem's Holocaust memorial museum Yad Vashem. The concert called "Kaddish I am Here," will be performed next month in the presence of President Shimon Peres, Holocaust survivors and their families, government officials and foreign diplomats. The music created by composer Dr. Lawrence Siegel and named for the Jewish prayer for the dead, tells the stories of Holocaust survivors in their own words, in their own languages, providing a window into their experiences. The September 8 concert at Yad Vashem's Warsaw Ghetto Square, is part of the museum's ongoing activities to commemorate the Holocaust through the arts.
