David Ben-Gurion, the ideological father and first Prime Minister of the modern State of Israel once famously stated that the future of Israel lay in making its deserts bloom. Sixty years after the founding of the state, KKL-JNF is still working to make this dream come true through the development and funding of projects throughout Israel's desert regions.
