Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met with Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Wednesday to discuss the future of the Israel-Hamas cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. During the meeting Olmert, Barak, Livni and top defense officials discussed whether to extend the six-month-old truce, which officially ends December 19. While the Prime Minster refused to rule out an operation in the coastal territory, the Defense Minister urged leaders to wait out the situation before taking action. 12/10/08
