Novo Nordisk has been named the “most sustainable company in the world” by Corporate Knights in its eighth annual Global 100 list of the most sustainable large corporations. The 2012 Global 100 used data from several sustainability research firms to identify the top 10 percent of companies out of 3,500 businesses, then ranked them by 11 indicators. Comparing countries, the United Kingdom leads with 16 companies on the list, followed by Japan with 11 and France and the U.S. with eight each. Intel was the highest-ranked American company, in 18th place.
Sprint has partnered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for the fifth year to help keep kids safer online. Sales generated from recycled phones, batteries, accessories, and data cards received by Sprint Project Connect, Sprint’s charitable phone-recycling program, are funding new content on NSTeens.org, a website sponsored by NCMEC, NSTeens.org is a site created for the “tween” audience of 8 to 12 yea
