Since 2008, Katherine Sheppard and Paddy O'Sullivan have been writing, recording and performing original music in venues across Brisbane. Since the addition of Izzy Biggs on Trombone, Uke and Keys, and Beau Jorgensen on assorted percussion in 2010, the group's sound and styles have evolved to be described as pleasantly sweet folk-pop. Integrating covers of artists such as Van Morrison, Damien Rice and Outcast into their set, the Pleasantries are looking forward to continue to entertain audiences throughout 2011.
