Syria has been accused of planting landmines near its borders as thousands of refugees try to escape the conflict.

The advocacy group, Human Rights Watch, says it has documented multiple accounts from witnesses in Turkey, Lebanon and inside Syria who have either seen Syrian troops laying or been hurt by mines.
