The Indian market is loaded with a large variety of snacks, both from the organised and unorganised sectors. Of these, quite a large volume is produced in the unorganised sector where brands do not have much recognition. With rapid changes in the consumers consumption profile, there lies a potential for producing branded snacks like potato chips, extruded snacks, ethnic Indian snacks, peanuts and other types of nut snacks and market the same.
