There will be no flights between 11 o'clock at night and five in the morning at Frankfurt Airport, after a German court upheld the ban on journeys during the night.

The Federal Administrative court in Leipzig made the ruling after 17 unauthorised night time flights were allowed by the state of Hesse without proper consultation when Frankfurt airport was expanded.
