Apple's latest operating system is finally out and after a few days of working with it, I'm ready to give my initial thoughts on Lion.

Overall, Lion is a more polished upgrade and improvements are mostly concentrated around unifying various options and features. The visual sheen Lion adds to the overall experience is a nice touch, though I could do without some of the over-the-top animations.
