Louis de Bernières joins Sir David to discuss his new book, Serbia and history.

Bernières says that he wrote the first draft of his new book almost thirty years ago and that to avoid media attention following the success of Captain Corelli's Mandolin; he got on with longer-term projects.

Bernières says that he has four more major projects lined up to conclude his writing career.
