Hundreds of thousands of people from around the globe have flocked to Scotland's capital Edinburgh on Saturday for the world's biggest arts festival.
The annual Fringe Festival holds a wide range of shows by thousands of peformers that come from countries across the world.
The event displays shows ranging from musicals to stand-up comedy and acts that are beyond description.
