A man in his 20s is killed by a great white shark Thursday while body-boarding off the coast of Cape Town in South Africa.
Authorities say a 16 foot long shark bite off the man's leg.
The man was body-boarding with his brother and friends who also rescued him from the water.
It is the second fatal shark in just over two years in the waters around Cape Town.
Numerous sharks are drawn to the area to feed on the large number of seals.
The City of Cape Town has proposed setting up a shark exclusion net to ensure safety along the popular strip of beach.
