STORY: The United Nations mission in South Sudan said on Saturday four people, including one U.N. staff member, had been taken to Khartoum.

Sudan said it had arrested a Norwegian, a Briton and a South African for illegally entering a disputed border area earlier on Saturday and accused them of helping the South Sudan army, a claim the South denied.

The four foreigners arrived at the military airport in Khartoum on Saturday.

Sudanese armed forces spokesman, Al-Sawarmi Khalid told journalists the men were arrested for illegally entering the oil-producing border of Heglig.

The South Sudan army denied the men arrested were aiding its forces contrary to accusations from Khartoum.
