Deep in the southern jungles of Colombia, the first pictures have emerged of the spot where a French TV journalist was seized on Saturday, apparently by FARC rebels.

Locals have been showing bullet casings, said to have been used during the deadly ambush in which Romeo Langlois and government troops he was with were attacked by armed men.
