National Gandhi Museum Delhi is dedicated to Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi( The father of Nation) . This museum has sculpture, photographs and paintings of Father of Nation. Tourists mostly visit Gandhi Museum Delhi to know about the man who led the Indian revolution and helped getting freedom from British.
After Gandhi was assassinated in 1948, people began searching for all the things related to him, his belongings, personal relics, manuscripts, books, journals and documents, photographs all over India.
They gathered all those stuffs, from newspapers to photos to others that reflected the life of Gandhi. These were brought to Bombay where National Gandhi Museum was first opened in 1948 after Gandhi died. The museum was later shifted to Rajghat in the year 1961 where he was cremated.
