The 32nd Asturias Arts award was a double celebration for the winner Spanish architect, Jose Moneo. He received the honour on the day he turned 75.

There were 39 nominations from 25 different countries for the prestigious and acclaimed award which is presented to someone in the field of the arts who has made a significant contribution to the cultural heritage of humanity.
