British Airways has suffered financial losses of about $15m a day since blizzards forced airports across Europe to postpone flights last week, stranding thousands of passengers.
London's Heathrow airport, Europe's busiest air hub, remains one of the worst affected in the continent.
It is the latest crisis to hit the airline following the Iceland's volcano ash cloud and BA employee strikes in May - inflicting unprecedented losses for the company this year.
