One way to try and find out where someone is would be to carry out a people search by home address. There are quite a number of places where address information can be retrieved. The first place to search through would be the telephone directory. There are a number of online phonebooks that you can use for this search.
You can use the White Pages or the Google phonebook. Using either of these directories you will be able to carry out a people search by home address. In the white pages you need to select the reverse searches option. That is the one that will identify who the address belongs to and where it is located.
Using the Google phonebook simply enter the address. If the number is contained within the phonebook it will display the associated result. That is one way of going about it.
