'A PAIXÓN DE MARÍA SOLIÑA' is a documentary and fiction film about the spanish inquisition.
The tribunal of the Inquisition is founded to repress all ideas and beliefs against those of the catholic dogma. During several centuries, witch practice led many women to humiliation, exile and to be burnt on the stake. In Galicia, the witch hunt converted Maria Soliña into a symbol for all women victims of power, chained and judged by the Spanish Inquisition.
