A crackdown in Syria appears to be continuing despite the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Human rights groups say at least 142 people were killed across the country on Sunday.

On Monday, there was a renewed assault by government forces on the town of Deir Az-zor.

But the city Hama bore the brunt - as Caroline Malone reports, using footage from opposition activists.
