The early heats of the Eurovision Song Contest have been held in Azerbaijan, this year's host country. 18 acts went through the semi-finals with songs which reflect the enormous variety of musical styles alive and well in Europe. Only 10 will go through to the final.

The Serbian entry is a song called Love Is Not A Thing". The Georgian song is called I Am A Joker.
