One of the candidates in Russian local and mayoral elections has been nicknamed Russia's Barack Obama by the local media. Jo Aakeem Crima is the first African-born Russian citizen to run for a government post. Crima has managed to win some hearts and is geared up with his voting card, but in a country notorious for racial violence, he may have a long way to go.
