Mexico holds onto its printing traditions

The first printing press in the Americas was set up in Mexico City in the 1530s, and today the Mexican capital is still home to several traditional presses.

While the moveable type they use may be out of date, some Mexicans see the method as a kind of art.

It is not just out of date presses that line the plaza, there are also letter writers who type up official and personal notes for those who cannot read.
