The 33rd annual Sao Paulo Fashion Week kicked off with Brazil's top designers presenting their upcoming summer creations.

Five brands staged parades on the opening night, but Animale stole the show with British model-turned-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

In her first look she wore black leather trousers with a see-through tulle top and then closed the show in a leather skirt paired with an animal print top.

Designer Alexandre Herchcovitch, put on a colorful show inspired by 80's British singer Boy George.

Models crisscrossed the runway in graphic outfits that mixed bright hues with black-and-white checkered patterns.

Thirty-two Brazilian designers will present their upcoming collections throughout the week.
