Sony reboots the web-head with a villain we never really got to see in Sam Raimi's trilogy, and a love interest that was drastically mishandled in Spider-Man 3. With an emphasis on the mysterious disappearance of the Parkers and Peter's destiny, The Amazing Spider-Man actually looks pretty good, despite being a too-soon-to-make-sense reboot. But Marvel characters do that a lot, don't they?
