Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube. This version of Ocarina of Time was released in 2003 as a free pre-order gift with the new Zelda game The Wind Waker. What makes this a nice port is the GameCube. Nintendo's purple cube cleans up the muddiness that was characteristic of even the best-looking Nintendo 64 games. The resolution was upped, which gives everything a clearer and sharper look, and the game even supports 480p for those with HD TVs and component cables. Hyrule was a gorgeous place in 1998, and although the textures and models do look dated, the art and presentation look better than ever. This video review features video gameplay footage of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
