Rovio, the company behind the blockbuster game Angry Birds, has launched a new game called Amazing Alex.
The new game - a physics-based series of challenges has 100 levels. It's initial launch is for iOS and Android with other platforms to follow.

This is not a brand new game from Rovio though. CNet notes - Earlier this year, the company acquired the intellectual property rights to Casey's Contraptions, a title developed by Snappy Touch and Mystery Coconut. Casey's Contraptions was renamed Amazing Alex after Rovio acquired it.
Rovio is hoping the new game catches on as much as Angry Birds - which has been hugely successful - those apps have seen over 1 billion downloads - yes that's billion with a b.
The Helsinki based Rovio has capitalized on Angry Bird's success to launch "Angry Birds" cookbooks, theme parks, sweatshirts, plush toys, and soda brands.
