These pictures are all that the family of Pritam Bhattacharjee has of him now. The bright young 26 year old left from his home in Silchar, Assam on July 9th for a PhD enrolment exam in New Delhi. But what was recovered six days later was his dead body in so dreadful a condition that it could not even be taken to his home for his last rites.
