Internationally sanctioned military action in Libya is in its fourth day.
So far it has been Western-led but the future command structure is uncertain.
US president Barack Obama has said he expects a transfer of command in the next fews days, and France and Britain have said they agree with the US that NATO should play a key role in commanding the military.
Despite the military action, however, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi vowed to fight on.
