Turkish-Syrian joint search and rescue mission continues as Turkey waits to decide on action until it has been determined where exactly the jet was located when it was shot down.

Both sides have agreed that the Turkish plane was in violation of Syrian airspace, but Turkish officials say it is "normal" for reconnaissance jets to cross the border in routine operations.
