The Palestinian leadership is making its application to UN for membership status its top priority when the General Assembly convenes in September.

In Ramallah, however, people are "cautiously" hopefull of the bid.

Most people are aware of the US intent to veto Palestine's full-membership bid.

Others feel that the bid will be not change the lives if Palestinians and may even make their lives more difficult.
