The long running conflict between rival tribes in South Sudan is escalating.
A youth armed group from the Murle tribe attacked the Lou Nuer tribe in Duk Padyet in Jonglei state late on Monday.
Forty-seven people have been killed, most of which were young children, women and old people, said Philip Thon Leek Deng, a local leader and member of parliament.
